At Ability Health Solutions, our experienced Occupational Therapists will assist you to maintain and maximise your ability to perform everyday tasks independently and safely. We work with people who have a medical condition, disability or are experiencing the impact of ageing that may make daily tasks more difficult.
We will help you reach your goals using high quality client-centred therapy services. Whether you are seeking support with preventing falls, disability equipment assessment and prescription, or assessing your home for safety modifications, Ability Health Solutions can assist.
Services are completed in your own home or facility with carers and family as required.

Equipment Assessment and Prescription
Wheelchairs, scooters, bathing / showering, toileting aids, seating, beds, pressure care, hoists, daily living aids, and more
Wheelchair/ Scooter Assessment and Training
Specialist assessments, driving skills assessment and retraining, seating and positioning, community access
Home Safety Assessments
Assessing the home environment to improve safety and independence including falls prevention, using mobility aids at home, rails, equipment, daily living skills
Home Modifications Assessment – Minor and Major
Rails, platform steps, bathroom modifications (ie. level entry showers), ramps
Activities of Daily Living Assessments and Retraining
Personal care and showering, meal preparation, domestic tasks, community access, shopping, mobility
Care Needs Assessments and Carer Training
Reviewing level of care and support requirements, educating and training care workers, consultation with care agency providers
Falls Prevention and Education
Reviewing the home environment, equipment requirements, education and training, daily living skills training
Community Access
Working to improve your ability to access your community, including using mobility aids in the community, accessing shops, public transport
Manual Handling Consulting
Individual client handling and risk assessments, handling training, mobility and functional transfers intervention
Ergonomic Assessments
We can complete ergonomic seating and workstation assessments at work or home.
Housing OT Assessments
Assessment of housing and support needs, including SDA OT Reports for NDIS.

- University degree qualified
- Registered to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
