Ability Health Solutions is a registered provider of Therapeutic Supports (Occupational Therapy services) for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?
The NDIS is a national program that enables people with a disability to receive individualised support and services to meet their specific goals and needs. NDIS participants are able to choose their service providers, including Occupational Therapist.
NDIS Occupational Therapy Services provided
At Ability Health Solutions, our experienced Occupational Therapists provide high quality client-centred therapy services to help participants reach their goals, maximise independence and safety.
We provide a full range of Occupational Therapy services for NDIS participants (see list below). These are funded under the Improved Daily Living support area on a person’s NDIS plan. We are currently working with a number of NDIS participants and have experience with the scheme and funding options (i.e. Agency NDIS managed, Self managed, Plan Management Providers)
Occupational Therapy Services may include:
- Assistive Technology (i.e. equipment) – specialist assessment, prescription, setup & training
- Home modifications – assessment, prescription, consultation, minor & major (complex)
- Activities of Daily Living – assessment, retraining
- Care Needs Assessments & Carer Training
- Housing OT Assessments – i.e. Assessment & reports for SDA (Supported Disability Accommodation)
- Manual Handling Consulting
- Community Access

Service Agreements & Service Bookings
All participants will receive a Service Agreement outlining mutually agreed services to be provided, and a Service Booking completed (where relevant)
We deliver services for a wide range of disabilities, across all age groups, and all within the community (in your own home or facility).
New or Review NDIS plans
Whether you are new to the NDIS or an existing participant, we can provide support and consultation when developing a new or review NDIS plan to assist in ensuring it best meets your needs going forward.
