Stephen is a qualified Occupational Therapist with extensive industry experience as an occupational therapist and manual handling consultant within the health, disability and aged care sectors. Stephen also has a degree in Human Movement (Applied Science) and is Cert IV qualified in Training & Assessment.
Stephen has more than 17 years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist working in senior positions across hospital and community services within Australia and the UK. He is a highly skilled and experienced therapist working across a wide range of conditions and complex needs. Stephen has a special interest in complex equipment prescription and home modifications.
Stephen has also worked as a manual handling professional for over 12 years within Australia and the UK. He is a highly experienced trainer and consultant in manual handling, having worked extensively with private clients, health and disability organisations.

Kylie is a highly skilled Occupational Therapist with over 22 years’ experience. She has worked in a variety of hospital, rehabilitation and community settings both in Australia and the UK, with clients of all ages and across a wide range of conditions. Kylie’s experience includes working for over 5 years with Multiple Sclerosis Australia, and more recently over 5 years as a private community OT delivering a broad range of services including rehabilitation, equipment/ assistive technology and home modification services. Kylie has a special interest in neurological conditions (e.g. acquired rain injury, stroke, spinal cord injuries), complex wheelchair and seating prescriptions, as well as upper limb rehabilitation. Kylie enjoys working with clients, their families and their support teams to enable clients to achieve their goals.

Giselle is a highly skilled Occupational Therapist and brings over 12 years’ experience to Ability Health Solutions. She has worked within hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation, and community settings during this time providing her with a broad range of experience and skills. This includes complex equipment prescription, home modifications, upperlimb, activity modification and retraining, as well as complex seating and powered/manual mobility aids. Giselle has a keen interest in neurological conditions, acquired brain injury and upper limb rehabilitation. Giselle enjoys working collaboratively with clients, families and their treating teams to achieve positive outcomes and understands the importance of enabling participation in activities of day to day life.

Claire is a highly accomplished Occupational Therapist with over 15years of clinical experience. She has worked across a wide variety of clinical settings; within acute hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation including neurology and acquired brain injury units, and range of community settings including palliative care.
Claire brings highly developed skills and expertise to Ability Health Solutions including cognitive retraining, task analysis, activity modification and retraining, complex equipment prescription, upper limb retraining and management, complex wheelchair prescription and home modifications.
Claire has a keen interest in intellectual disability and neurological conditions. Claire particularly enjoys working collaboratively with clients, their families and working within a team of health professionals to help the client reach their full potential.

Laura is a highly skilled Occupational Therapist who joins Ability Health Solutions with over 12 years’ experience. She has worked in community settings both in the UK and Australia in senior roles, with clients of all ages and across a wide range of conditions.
Laura has worked for over 6 years as a community OT in social services in the UK with complex clients and more recently in Australia for over 6 years as a community OT in the private sector servicing clients of all ages and conditions. This has provided Laura with valuable skills and experience across a broad range of areas. Laura has worked with vulnerable adults and children throughout her career and is skilled in completing a variety of assessments, reports, training, rehabilitation, funding requests and prescriptions for complex equipment and home modifications.
Laura has a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and experience in upper limb retraining. Laura is passionate about OT and strives to empower individuals to achieve their goals and live more independently in their community working closely with clients, their families, carers and their wider team.

Shinay Dowson is a highly skilled Occupational Therapist who brings over 15 years’ experience to Ability Health Solutions. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including acute hospital, In-Patient Rehabilitation and multiple community roles. She is experienced working with many different client groups and particularly enjoys working with Neurological conditions, Amputees and clients with complex health needs. Shinay has an interest in complex home modification, equipment prescription, activity modification and upper limb retraining.
Shinay’s experience across the health spectrum enables her to work collaboratively with her clients and their families, focusing on what is important to them and facilitating a path to optimised daily function.

Rachel is a highly skilled Occupational Therapist who brings 10 years experience to the Ability Health Solutions team. Rachel has worked in a variety of practice areas including occupational rehabilitation, community rehabilitation and community OT. She has specialist knowledge regarding a variety of health conditions, the impact on function and tailors Occupational Therapy intervention to suit each individual. Rachel has particular interest in a wide variety of assistive technology, complex powered and manual wheelchair seating, manual handling, upper limb rehabilitation and home modifications. Rachel enjoys working collaboratively with clients, families and other stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes are achieved.

Trish is a highly experienced business administrator having worked in a wide range of varied and interesting areas throughout her working life, including Banking, Postal Services, Real Estate, Arts Council, Retail, Residential Care, Tour Guide at Cape Schanck Lighthouse, and Civil Celebrant.
In her spare time, Trish is highly involved in Melbourne’s Amateur Theatre scene, as a performer and judge, and continues to preside at weddings and funerals.
All of this experience has led her to Ability Health Solutions where she keeps the business running on a weekly basis, looks after all the administration needs, and is the glue holding the team together. She has worked across a wide range of clinical settings, including Acute Hospitals, Inpatient and Out-patient Rehabilitation Programs, Community Health and Private practice, delivering OT services to diverse clientele groups both in Sydney and Melbourne.

She has highly honed skills in assessment, report writing, funding requests and training. Most of all she enjoys building rapport with her clients and their families, and assisting clients to reach their functional goals and living their best life.
Daliah has a keen interest in working with Aged clients to support them living at home, and providing specialised assessment in equipment provision and home modifications that will enable them to continue their lives in the safest manner. She has extensive expertise in working within the Home Care Package space and collaborating with Care Managers, and support teams.

Rachel has worked in roles specialising in occupational rehabilitation, vision impairment and inpatient rehabilitation, as well as running her own private practice. She is skilled in complex home modifications, prescription of assistive technology / equipment and task modification and is motivated to support older adults and those with a disability to achieve their goals through a holistic, person centred approach.
